Unwanted jewellery can be given to charity shops (for full list, consult the Yellow Pages). Or if you wanted to make some extra cash you could try selling using an internet auction site.

Can be recycled at your local Household Waste Recycling centre or Recycle Points. They can also be collected through many of the kerbside collection schemes.

Junk mail
You can substantially reduce the amount of unwanted junk mail you receive by contacting the Mailing Preference Service and getting yourself excluded from most of the selected mailing lists. Write to MPS Freepost 22, London WE1 7EZ, or call 0845 703 4599. Always tick the box at the end of a charity appeal or other mailing if you do not wish your name to be passed to other agencies.
